How old are you? And maybe add what you do . . . CURRENTLY. (No need to fill the thread with a complete resume!)

I'm 63. I do custom painting, pinstriping and airbrush . . . when there's work. Otherwise, I'm retired!
I've had my '66 Elkie since 1978. Also bought a couple parts cars back then, ('66 SS and '67 SS), to scavenge a few things to upgrade the Elkie. :smile2:
I'm 57 years young, sometimes feel 90, own a small a/c bus here in Fl., always been into muscle cars, my dad brought home a 62 harley panhead when I was 15 and been hooked on them since, got a 68 malibu sport coupe, 72 shovelhead in a softail frame and an 06 custom FI softail, I built the bikes myself and the mech. stuff on the chevelle, hope that doesn't sound too much like a resume.
67 Bob. but don't feel a day over 77:|. still trucking about 9 months a year & putting the touch on unemployment for about 3 months. and then there's SS (social security). so if there's any benefit to being an old fart, I'm living the dream.
hmardown
I'm 68 and finding it hard to put down the trowel as I still enjoy it. Glad there are a few younger folks getting into this car thing. I wonder who the oldest TC'er is? There should be an award for the title.
I bet you are doing something with turbine or compressor manufacturing at PWA Middletown? Worked in Test Engineering in East Hartford way back when. Had a great time watching the results of those tests back when the JT9d was nearly "unstable" . One actually self destructed in the test cell in East Hartford and scared the daylights out of the cell operator. Us engineers just wanted to examine the pieces while the operator cleaned his shorts. How am I doing on your question?
36. have a plumbing and heating biz, flip houses, and landlord of about 50 tenants. live in philly. have a ba in economics. bought my chevelle at 14 for $500. restored it at 15 (horrendous body work but i did it myself in a tiny 1 car garage by reading books). keep my chevelle at my shop and tinker with it daily and blow up engines etc lol. have owned 7 or so turbo regals, 2 c6 z's, a c7, and tons of other stuff. took a 9 year or so hiatus from this site. was on turbobuick.com a lot. have 4 year old and 2 year old boys. enjoy working on my chevelle but i'm always in a rush lol.
I am 65, and am retired from a U.S. Navy laboratory where I was a machinist, then a mechanical engineer and later a program manager. I have been into Chevelles since I was 14 and saw my first magazine advertisement for the '66 SS 396. Have owned many SS Chevelles since, including the '69 I now own.
68 now, I was born 1/30/49 so age will be relevant whenever this is read. Retired GM mechanic but still do a lot of restoration work on other peoples cars a well as light repairs on late model vehicles. The extra money funds my projects. Currently building a 72 wagon and have a 64 Nova next in line that will be the wife's hot rod. Most days I do what I want. Have very few honey do's she just wants me to complete the yard landscaping that was started 2 years ago. We are raising our 11 year old grandson now which cuts into any retirement travelling of us together during the school year. I go to shows without her and she vacations for 2 months in Alaska without me. Except for last summer when we all went.
Currently 47. I do my own thing - computer repair/network cabling/eBay and occasionally electrical work for my cousins (one bathroom/family room remodel, one 7,200 square foot house, and a couple of solar grid ties [I did the AC side of the grid ties, while another one of my cousins did the DC side]).
I've been into Chevys since I was extremely young - parents were taking me to Beeline Dragway when I was 6 months old. Dad used to race his '67 Chevy II out there.
Turning 35 this year. Do IT Consulting as a day job, play drums as a night/weekend gig. Got my 69 Chevelle about 3 years ago, then restored the motor/driveline/suspension/etc. Had a bunch of european cars before this, including a supercharged BMW M3 on the cover of EuroTuner magazine one year. But my love will always be muscle cars (unless I get my hands on a Turbo Porsche 993).
I just turned 50 in late January, and I am currently working as a Civil Engineer...
Been into Chevelles since 1982, and have owned at least one '66 Chevelle continuously since then (15+ cars, mostly for parts). Just recently had a '66 Buick Sportwagon and now have a '67 El Camino... Bought my '70 about 10 years ago, and was my first real foray into "other than a '66 Chevelle"...
Two kids (12 and 14) in sports and many other activities that I am usually coaching/volunteering, and a wife and home and dog that keep me occupied... Not much "Chevelle" time the last few years... "Someday" I'll restore my '66 L78 car. Honestly plan to get it drive able this year...
Currently 52.8 years old. I work in an office that maintains a small fleet ( about 600ish) of computers throughout my state. All of my Chevelles have beds.
38, so relatively young based on the pole results.
Project manager at a construction company.
Bought my first muscle car at 15 years old and haven't been without one since. I built my current car 16 years ago. Others have come and gone in that time, but this one is a keeper.
3 kids age 6 and under, so "garage" time is hard to come by lately but I do what I can.
I'm 32 and I maintain one of the police stations in San Francisco.
Had a bank account since I was 8 and bought my first chevelle when I was 16 (a 67) with my own money and never looked back.
I'm 59 and Lighting Designer working at a MEP Counsulting Engineering firm. Been in the lighting industry for over 35yrs selling and designing lighting systems for commercial buildings.
I am 66 and retired from a 38 year career with the same company where I worked as an Engineering Development Technician building hybrid microcircuits, switching power supplies, and Fiber Optic Gyros (3 careers in one). Now I get to work on my car projects. I have several that have been waiting for my attention and I am collecting parts for a new welding project that will be a 1972 Chevelle 2 door wagon on a 112 inch wheelbase. It may take me a while to get around to this one.
