1948 Olds: power windows and seats, too

Very cool!
I had a 1961 Caddy that had power windows and they still worked in 1999 when I sold it.
1967 Newport had power seats and windows and they worked like new until I sold it.

But 1948 man I would never have guessed.

I have seen record players in cars that were factory.
One anyway. I am not that old.

I remember reading somewhere that the Olds division got all the latest innovations before any of the other G M divisions did.This seems to prove that out.I can't answer the reason why but going all the way back to the 30's that was the way it was.

Man, do I remember one just like that.
I tried to see if I could hold the passenger window and stop it with my right hand while pushing the button down with my left hand and it sucked my fingers and thumb down with the chrome on top of the glass and guess what, I couldn't stop it.
Sure did hurt for a long time. :(

Hey I was only about 11 years old.
