Re: Talk about a sleeper........

That truck, or one just like it is in OK and number 10 on their top 10 quickest cars according to a new show I saw the other night on Discovery Channel called Street Outlaws. They had a segment with the truck jacking with other cars on the street and he called out the number 9 car to move up the list.

Interesting that another guy on the show had a G body el camino in the top 10 too. Evidently he died (suicide from what i could discover) between the time the show was filmed and the debut episode as there was a dedication to him. I believe his name was Tyler Priddy.

I watched that show too. I missed the end where # 6 and # 7 raced, though. Who won that?

i just knew that truck was going to be the subject before i clicked on the thread title...
i'll go back to being impressed with that truck when i see it lap a road course in a time that's on par with a stock Miata..

IIRC the white Mustang lost both of its races.

That thing brings back memories of watching Fathoms fly over in Vietnam. You new if they put enough HP in anything, it would fly fast.

Re: Talk about a sleeper........

Be nice to come up next to a pack of rice rocket wannabes at a stop light in that... You know - with a chaw and an IH hat on with a pencil stuck in it?

Then just a deadpan stare and a light throttle blip at them.

What a laugh!
