whew, made the right choice last night

I would like to share an experience with you about drinking and driving. As you know, some of us have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social occasion over the years. Last night, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many beers.

Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before, I took a bus home. Sure enough I passed a police road block but, as it was a bus, they waved it past.

I arrived home safely without incident, which was a great surprise as I have never driven a bus before and I'm not sure where I got it.

As usual, Andy is right
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.

They let you go through because it was a short bus.

Andy you drove it better than the regular bus driver so the cops could not tell.....

Life's journey is not about arriving at the gate well preserved, it's about skidding in sideways, all used up and worn out yelling........GOD, what a ride!!!!

Ha! I read your post to the office - they all were paying close attention and the punch line made them all laugh.

Thank you Andy69.

Ah the school bus joke. Even Larry the Cable guy was a day late telling that one.

Wonder if all the bondo dust flying off the bus clouded the police officers vision.......couldn't see him or the bus, didn't stop him..............

Glad everything worked out for you. I would hate to think of the outcome if you were involved in an argument with a law enforcement officer.
