Steve has owned this clean Chevelle for over 15 years now. The SS was in good shape, but Steve opted to start a restoration. The rust monster was evident last year in the typical places. Under the vinyl top was the worst rust and as you can see "no more vinyl top". The majority of the chrome and emblems were removed at this time as well. The "SS 396" and "Chevelle by Chevrolet" are being handlettered in their original locations.The engine has been completely redone to 396/350 hp specifications. Muncie 4 speed. Paint is the original color of Fathom Green.
The interior was only in need of new carpet, dash pad, and headliner.
