This car took me 3 yrs to build and is equipped with air-ride, a 396, Muncie new
generation 4 speed and the big 12 bolt aftermarket.
I had attended a car show and seen a 1967 SS sitting there, well, that was it. I traded a 69Z in for the cash and then turned it in to this. It was a shell when I started.
The air-ride also made the car hook-up when I drop the hammer, I guess it transfers some weight to the rear of the car. I am currently building a 454, punched out to a 496, lots of good parts, trick
flow heads, eagle forged crank. On paper its going to make 525 hp but these
cars can handle horse power. The motor in it now is makeing 457 torque,
400hp , but I want it a little scarier. The car also has solid motor
mounts and was told that "oh the car will shake", but its not the case,
smooth as butter at a idle.
It gives me chills to first get in it .....be well my friends
