Team Chevelle Member #1012Hi, just a little information about our 66 Beaumont. We really enjoy the Team Chevelle site.
The car, before it's restoration, had a solid frame, floor, dash and trunk. We replaced the interior with 66 Chevelle goodies. It is now black with bucket seats, a B&M shifter and factory powered windows.
It was originally a light blue exterior. We replaced this with a clear coated metallic blue. The car rolls on BF Goodrich TA's. The rears are 245 60's and the front are 215 70's. These tires hook real nice.
The Beaumont is powered by a 1970 Chevelle 396 - 402 big block with a Holley intake and Holley carb. Dual exhaust fed by Hedman headers keep it breathing. The drivetrain consists of a TH400 and a Posi rear end.
