My Chevelle SS 454 has been with me since 1986. This was my first car from High School and stayed with me ever since. Being the fourth owner of the car, I have removed, cleaned, painted, or replaced every nut and bolt on the car. 95% of the parts replaced on the car are NOS.
The car has a non-matching LS-6 454 cu in block bored out to a 468 cu in with a Crane 540 lift cam, HEI ignition, 780 CFM Holly, TH400 Trans and a 3.73 12 bolt posi. Other features included an ivory and black interior, tach and gauges, center console, tilt wheel, PST suspension parts, and Cragar SS rims.
The car is 95% factory appearing right down to the Baldwin Motion Performance decals. (It’s always a good conversation topic at different shows!!!) I have won numerous awards and best of shows over the years. My biggest award was being selected as on the “Top 25” at the Boardwalk Classic in Wildwood NJ back in 1997. During that show, 1680 cars had registered for the Classic.

During 2007 my Chevelle SS went through a “rebirth”, a full restoration for a second time. You can view the restoration and the whole history of my Chevelle SS at www.cardomain.com/ride/2460972
Team Chevelle is an incredible site. Once again I have renewed my membership and will continue to do so!!! So at the request via the renewal letter, here are a few shots of my 70 Chevelle SS 454. This is my first car from High School and has been in my possession for almost 22 years.
