Just a couple of shots of that nearly forgotten Chevelle, a "1964".The car is a early model Canadian Malibu Sport Coupe that has spent most of it's life in Manitoba. A nice driver that gets driven.
Some of the features are:
- -restoration of a nearly rust free body by Pete Krocker at DMK Customs of Lockport MB, removal of the two tone divider strip.
- -restored fabric interior with 1966 red seat belts, Sun tack in place of clock, Pioneer stereo in glove box.
- - 7" GM Rallys with T/As and police style hub caps, now returned to stock height suspension, quick ratio power steering and HD sway bars front and rear.
- -1970 350 with 327 crank, Holley manifold and carb, headers, cam and old style Edelbrock finner valve covers, backed with a modified TH350 (hopefully to be replaced this spring with a 700R4 that is sitting in the shop waiting), replacing the original 283 4 barrel/PG.
The gal in the picture is my wife Shirley, without whose blessing I would not be playing with these toys. Keep on cruisin
