These are the photos of our original 67 Convertible. We are the 3rd owners. I tracked down the 1st owner, Steve Delp, who told me he worked for a Chevy Dealership when he ordered the car. He was young and could not afford to order the gauge package / tach option. He ordered both after he took delivery of the car and installed them himself. I asked why he installed the tach on the incorrect side and he said he installed it where he wanted it. We have the first registration certificate dated 11/7/66 issued in the state of Washington.
Delp sold the car 10/31/71 to Dave Leaf, also of Washington. Leaf provided a receipt dated 7/75 where he had the engine rebuilt at 91,220 miles. Leaf told us he has the original window sticker in a 'box someplace' but has not proveded it to us to date. When we disassembled the interior to clean / detail it, we were unable to locate the build sheet.
The car has the original paint, top, interior, door panels, weather stripping and it is a totally original unrestored car, with the exception of tires and a few miscellaneous engine compartment parts such as hose clamps, etc.
This car is unbelievably beautiful, is very tight, and runs great, particularly since it is 29 years old and has 94,300 miles on it.
