This ’68 was purchased from Lee Gallas Chevrolet in Albuquerque, New Mexico by my grandfather on October 3, 1968.
In 1996 my father ended up with the car, were it sat in the back yard for a long weather beaten 10 year period.
My senior year in High School I decided to bring the old car back to life. What started as some minor interior work and a quick engine swap, turned into a full restoration project.
Some of the upgrades include: 400+ hp 350, power disc brakes with 2” dropped spindles, polyurethane bushings throughout, 3:73 Dana gears with a Eaton posi unit, full body and interior restoration, 17” Torque Thrust II wheels with custom offsets.
Future upgrades include: power steering on a full serpentine system and NOS.
