This car was built by My Father and I from the ground up. Paint and All
I purchased the car Right out of High School about 10 years ago on one of those great and very lucky experiences, from the Original Owner right out of his garage, 100% stock with all the paperwork from over 30 years or receipts for work done to the car for only $1500.00. Talk about luck.
The orig motor was a 307 which I have paperwork for. It went out under factory. warranties and was upgraded for 150.00 to a target 350 in 1970
I since then have removed the Sb and added a little pick me up By putting a 468 BB in my little girl. The orig Trans was a 2 speed powerglide, I have removed and replaced with a turbo 350 built just right.
The orig color of the car was Off white and Int. was black. I have since then painted the car twice Once was Aqua with white rally stripes and Now as you see it House Of Kolor Tangelo and Candy Apple green Flames. The paint and body work was all done in my fathers garage flames and all, the Interior is now a more practical tweed Charcoal Gray for those hot California cruise's (the Leather just don't cut it if you know what I'm saying).
I have taken a few awards since I painted the car but I'm getting ready to tear it down again and replace the suspension components and rear end upgrade Because you all know as car guys your never done. Just don't tell my wife its never done.
