Tim Benson's factory-built 1975 Laguna El Camino

A little-known option (available in 1975 and possibly other years) was this special Laguna-front El Camino. This option was not well publicized, and it was apparently not an extra-cost item as it is not listed in the Chevrolet RPO totals reports. Note the "6H1" code on the build sheet for "FRT SOFT FACE" and "LAGUNA FRONT". The Chevelle Laguna front face will bolt onto any '73-'77 El Camino, so some may have been dealer-installed or home-built. This particular example, however, is factory-built.
