A 1972 GMC Sprint SP. Barely visible on the rear quarter panel is a white "SP" decal. Note domed hood with stripes and special sport wheels with "GMC" center caps.

A 1972 GMC sales brochure called the 1972 Sprint a "Sport Utility Vehicle", possibly the first ever use of the SUV designation.
