After years of ownership and top down driving, I've decided to part with my SS Convertible and move forward investing in another opportunity during my retirement years, here in Somers, CT. Since I'm the owner I can answer all your questions directly, honestly and back everything up with detailed documentation and receipts as well.
Your viewing a beautiful non-smoking, adult owned, garage kept classic which is 100% turn-key, needing nothing but someone who can appreciate it. This sought after color combination of correct GM Regal Red with Red interior and a nice white perfect fitting Electron top stands out in the crowd. It comes with very nice chrome, moldings, glass and outstanding paint on a super straight body.
The highly detailed engine compartment sports a 396 engine that has 4,000 miles since being professionally re-built to run on regular un-leaded gas. The block is a numbers correct 1966-360 HP casting and runs effortlessly. Everything under the hood is new including an Alumitech Aluminum Radiator, twin spal fans, overflow tank, transmission cooler and the list goes on. The transmission was up-graded to a smooth shifting 350 Turbo and combined with a 3.31 rear ratio gives a great combination on the interstate or around town driving. The trunk and undercarriage are both exceptionally clean.
Just a note: If you perfer a stock look under the hood I have the Original Intake Manifold which is in excellent condition, that I will give you. You would just need a fan shroud and thermal clutch fan. The radiator can be painted black for an OEM look and the electric fans can be removed.

Engine: Correct 396 block built to 360 HP, Holley 770 Street Avenger Carb, Stewart Hi-Flo Waterpump in Cast Aluminum finish to match the engine, Polished Alternator, Accel HEI Dist, B&M Trans Cooler, Restored correct 29 coil hood hinges, March polished pulleys, new battery, hoses, clamps and the list goes on and on.
This 66 SS drives, looks and shows exceptionally well and won't be picked apart at any show. Since I'm retired I can show the car anyday that's convienent for your schedule. If you wish to fly instead of drive, I can pick you up at Bradley Airport in Hartford, CT. (BDL), let you drive the car, inspect it and ask any questions. If you intend to spend the night there's a Motel 6, only minutes away. We can talk Chevelle lingo over supper. I can also deliver the car within a reasonable distance of CT or arrange for transport. I'm very flexible.
