72 Sport Sedan, (4-door hardtop Chevelle)

Sport Sedan is how Chevrolet marketed these and that is what the "SS" stands for on this car. I would like to think this is the way it would of looked if GM built it. Originally bought this as a parts car but the more I looked at it the more I appreciated how original and nice it was and how I really liked it. It was an original 84k mile solid survivor that had a 307 with a flat cam, (but don't all 307's). I put a recently rebuilt 350 and completely rebuilt the Th350. Now, its probably one of the best running 72's around. I stripped it down to bare metal and put a new vinyl top and a new base coat/clear coat paint job on it in the original colors. Interior is stock except for new carpeting and is very nice for original. Was planning on putting new seat covers just to match the freshly painted exterior but won't be able to now. It is an A/C car that is all there but unfortunately the compressor needs to be replaced. It has power steering and power brakes. It also has a near new Magnaflow dual exhaust. Tires have maybe three thousand miles on them. The entire suspension is original and unmolested.

I would not be selling this if loss of job didn't force me to. I like the fact it is a little different and feel it is refreshing change from what you normally see. I've had so many people say to me, (to bad it's not a 2-door), and I just have to say yea, I could get $15K for it if it was, but then again it wouldn't be different.
I can talk way faster than I can type and therefore I would like to tell anyone interested all about the car. I'm a long time member of both ACES and Team Chevelle and value honesty above all else. I live outside Spokane Washington.
