KA: Does anyone know where replacement part manufacturers get blueprints or exact dimensions from. I want to make some custom control arms and would like to have exact dimensions of the stock parts in order to engineer the new ones correctly.S_: Contact Equity Management Inc. (708) 517-2500. They handle licensing and administrative services for GM Restoration Parts; at least they were back in 1993. You will need to fill out a company background form, and pay a fee. Another option would be to reverse engineer the part-get an original part and measure it.
