Nope.

B_: I have a 1966 Malibu with a 283ci. and a Powerglide (column shifter). I would like to put a 350ci. with a TH-350 transmission. I would like to know what I need to change or will it bolt right in.(I will save all my stock parts). Do I need to change the motor mounts? Is a TH-350 the same length as a Powerglide? Will I have to move or change the cross member and what do I do about the transmission mount?

W_: The 350ci motor will basically bolt right in. I would recommend new motor mounts (the rubber bushings) even if the old ones "look" all right.

PM: You probably already know this, but don't use the Powerglide torque converter with the TH-350. Use a TH-350 torque converter, or better yet get an aftermarket one by B&M or GER. I had done a Powerglide to TH-350 swap on my '71 Nova many years back and it was straightforward other than the torque converter problem I had.
