1a&b. Our original alternator was disassembled, the cases
were refinished, then reassembled with all new internals,
including bearings, brushes, and correctly dated diodes.
The deep groove pulley and fan assembly were also correctly
replated.
2. The A.I.R. system for our Chevelle was missing, but
ASL has just the stuff you need to make everything all right
again. All components have the correct finish, stampings,
and IDs. They even had the deep groove pulley for our L78
application.
3. Our distributor was numbered and dated wrong, but
correcting those deficiencies is just another service that
ASL can provide. Our distributor was completely rebuilt
using correct Delco-Remy parts. Finally, each distributor
is custom-curved to original specs, or whatever the customer
stipulates.
